Our values
Milibee's values are the environment, sustainability and originality. Preserving the environment is a value we hold dear. That's why we offer delivery in compostable or recyclable packages. What's more, all fabric, thread and other scraps are recycled. So there's no waste. The majority of our products are made from recycled clothing and fabrics, giving them a second life in keeping with today's tastes. Thank-you notes are also recyclable. As for the business cards, they are compostable and will be reborn as beautiful wild plants. In terms of sustainability, we've redesigned our packaging to extend the life of each of our products. Finally, originality is the heart, or rather the very essence, of the company. All our items are crafted to be on the cutting edge of the latest fashion trends.
Who is behind Milibee
Hi, I'm Émilie Brochu aka Milibee! To make a long story short, my inspiration for fashion and sewing came at a very young age through my mother. My mother has worked in textiles all her life, and she introduced me to the world of fashion in all its forms. When I became sewing-savvy, she taught me how to make and sew items I had imagined. Since then, I've been creating all kinds of clothes and accessories. I also made a stage costume for an emerging Montreal artist. In 2019, I received my diploma in fashion marketing from Cégep Marie-Victorin, and in 2024, I finally launch my business. My ultimate goal with Milibee is to play with fashion and its rules by giving people access to "funky" items that stand out with their style. From the simplistic to the elaborate, in my opinion, fashion is the way to express your personality.
